Capturing the Creative Process

In this project, we teamed up with Surf Wave Lisbon, a local surf school passionate about sharing the surf lifestyle with new and experienced students. The goal? Create dynamic short videos that capture the energy of the lessons, the connection with the ocean, and the joy of learning to surf.

Telling the Story Behind the Lens

We worked directly with a surf instructor to document real sessions: from preparation on the sand, to catching waves, to the smiles at the end. These videos were edited for use on social media, helping the school promote its classes in a fresh, exciting, and authentic way.

Surf Wave Lisbon is a Brazilian-founded surf school in Portugal, rooted in a deep connection to the ocean. Raised in fishing villages, the team brings over 16 years of experience to deliver more than just surf lessons they offer meaningful, ocean-driven experiences.

Focused on respect, persistence, and teamwork, their goal is to help you become not only a confident surfer but someone who takes the spirit of surfing into everyday life with good vibes and a love for the sea.

Video Production

We filmed and edited a series of short videos (under 60 seconds) with a cinematic but raw style highlighting:

  • The student experience

  • The teaching approach

  • A mix of slow motion, wide shots and close-ups for emotional impact

Each video was optimized for Instagram Reels, TikTok and Stories vertical format, clear focus and engaging pacing.

Visual Direction

We kept the visuals natural and airy, capturing:

  • The morning light on the beach

  • The ocean in movement

  • Students in action, with sincere expressions

Our goal was not only to promote surf classes, but to create an emotional connection — so viewers could feel the energy of being there.
